About Me
I first became involved with computers back in 1999 while I was still in secondary school. After leaving school to go to college I discovered my interest in web design, and after playing around with my first coding language (HTML) in notepad, I began to realise that this was what I wanted to pursue as a career. After a few more years at college I had completed various computer and design courses, I then decided to work towards gaining a HND in Multimedia.
Whilst studying towards my HND I was approached by various Nottingham based companies for whom I created websites. As a result of completing my HND I gained employment as a junior web designer, SEO and marketing advisor for a medium sized web design company based in Derby.
Working as a junior within the company enabled me to learn valuable skills and experience for the future. I gained a first hand view of the industry and with the help from my senior colleagues I really began to learn my trade as a web designer and search engine optimisation expert.
In mid 2007 I accepted a job offer for a firm based in Nottinghamshire. Early in 2008 I was promoted to senior web designer and SEO expert within the company.
When I'm not working or freelancing, I'm often exploring new parts of the country, spending time with my fiancée, learning new skills with Adobe Photoshop and alternative SEO techniques.
